بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 55:1

    ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ١

    Ar Rahmaan

    The Most Merciful

  2. 55:2

    عَلَّمَٱلْقُرْءَانَ٢

    'Allamal Quran

    Taught the Qur'an,

  3. 55:3

    خَلَقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ٣

    Khalaqal insaan

    Created man,

  4. 55:4

    عَلَّمَهُٱلْبَيَانَ٤

    'Allamalhul bayaan

    [And] taught him eloquence.

  5. 55:5

    ٱلشَّمْسُوَٱلْقَمَرُبِحُسْبَانٍۢ٥

    Ashshamsu walqamaru bihusbaan

    The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

  6. 55:6

    وَٱلنَّجْمُوَٱلشَّجَرُيَسْجُدَانِ٦

    Wannajmu washshajaru yasjudan

    And the stars and trees prostrate.

  7. 55:7

    وَٱلسَّمَآءَرَفَعَهَاوَوَضَعَٱلْمِيزَانَ٧

    Wassamaaa'a rafa'ahaa wa wada'al Meezan

    And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

  8. 55:8

    أَلَّاتَطْغَوْا۟فِىٱلْمِيزَانِ٨

    Allaa tatghaw fil meezaan

    That you not transgress within the balance.

  9. 55:9

    وَأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلْوَزْنَبِٱلْقِسْطِوَلَاتُخْسِرُوا۟ٱلْمِيزَانَ٩

    Wa aqeemul wazna bilqisti wa laa tukhsirul meezaan

    And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

  10. 55:10

    وَٱلْأَرْضَوَضَعَهَالِلْأَنَامِ١٠

    Wal arda wada'ahaa lilanaame

    And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.

  11. 55:11

    فِيهَافَـٰكِهَةٌۭوَٱلنَّخْلُذَاتُٱلْأَكْمَامِ١١

    Feehaa faakihatunw wan nakhlu zaatul akmaam

    Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

  12. 55:12

    وَٱلْحَبُّذُوٱلْعَصْفِوَٱلرَّيْحَانُ١٢

    Walhabbu zul 'asfi war Raihaanu

    And grain having husks and scented plants.

  13. 55:13

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ١٣

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  14. 55:14

    خَلَقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنَمِنصَلْصَـٰلٍۢكَٱلْفَخَّارِ١٤

    Khalaqal insaana min salsaalin kalfakhkhaari

    He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

  15. 55:15

    وَخَلَقَٱلْجَآنَّمِنمَّارِجٍۢمِّننَّارٍۢ١٥

    Wa khalaqal jaaan mim maarijim min naar

    And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

  16. 55:16

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ١٦

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  17. 55:17

    رَبُّٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِوَرَبُّٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ١٧

    Rabbul mashriqayni wa Rabbul maghribayni

    [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

  18. 55:18

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ١٨

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  19. 55:19

    مَرَجَٱلْبَحْرَيْنِيَلْتَقِيَانِ١٩

    Marajal bahrayni yalta qiyaani

    He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];

  20. 55:20

    بَيْنَهُمَابَرْزَخٌۭلَّايَبْغِيَانِ٢٠

    Bainahumaa barzakhul laa yabghiyaan

    Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

  21. 55:21

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٢١

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  22. 55:22

    يَخْرُجُمِنْهُمَاٱللُّؤْلُؤُوَٱلْمَرْجَانُ٢٢

    Yakhruju minhumal lu 'lu u wal marjaanu

    From both of them emerge pearl and coral.

  23. 55:23

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٢٣

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  24. 55:24

    وَلَهُٱلْجَوَارِٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُفِىٱلْبَحْرِكَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ٢٤

    Wa lahul jawaaril mun sha'aatu fil bahri kal a'laam

    And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.

  25. 55:25

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٢٥

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  26. 55:26

    كُلُّمَنْعَلَيْهَافَانٍۢ٢٦

    Kullu man 'alaihaa faan

    Everyone upon the earth will perish,

  27. 55:27

    وَيَبْقَىٰوَجْهُرَبِّكَذُوٱلْجَلَـٰلِوَٱلْإِكْرَامِ٢٧

    Wa yabqaa wajhu rabbika zul jalaali wal ikraam

    And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

  28. 55:28

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٢٨

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  29. 55:29

    يَسْـَٔلُهُۥمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚكُلَّيَوْمٍهُوَفِىشَأْنٍۢ٢٩

    Yas'aluhoo man fissamaawaati walard; kulla ywmin huwa fee shaan

    Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.

  30. 55:30

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٣٠

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  31. 55:31

    سَنَفْرُغُلَكُمْأَيُّهَٱلثَّقَلَانِ٣١

    Sanafrughu lakum ayyuhas saqalaan

    We will attend to you, O prominent beings.

  32. 55:32

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٣٢

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  33. 55:33

    يَـٰمَعْشَرَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِإِنِٱسْتَطَعْتُمْأَنتَنفُذُوا۟مِنْأَقْطَارِٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِفَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚلَاتَنفُذُونَإِلَّابِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ٣٣

    Yaa ma'sharal jinni wal insi inis tata'tum an tanfuzoo min aqtaaris samaawaati wal ardi fanfuzoo; laa tanfuzoona illaa bisultaan

    O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].

  34. 55:34

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٣٤

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  35. 55:35

    يُرْسَلُعَلَيْكُمَاشُوَاظٌۭمِّننَّارٍۢوَنُحَاسٌۭفَلَاتَنتَصِرَانِ٣٥

    Yursalu 'alaikumaa shuwaazum min naarifiw-wa nuhaasun falaa tantasiraan

    There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.

  36. 55:36

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٣٦

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  37. 55:37

    فَإِذَاٱنشَقَّتِٱلسَّمَآءُفَكَانَتْوَرْدَةًۭكَٱلدِّهَانِ٣٧

    Fa-izan shaqqatis samaaa'u fakaanat wardatan kaddihaan

    And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -

  38. 55:38

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٣٨

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  39. 55:39

    فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢلَّايُسْـَٔلُعَنذَنۢبِهِۦٓإِنسٌۭوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ٣٩

    Fa-yawma'izil laa yus'alu 'an zambiheee insunw wa laa jaann

    Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.

  40. 55:40

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٤٠

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  41. 55:41

    يُعْرَفُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَبِسِيمَـٰهُمْفَيُؤْخَذُبِٱلنَّوَٰصِىوَٱلْأَقْدَامِ٤١

    Yu'raful mujrimoona biseemaahum fa'yu'khazu binna waasi wal aqdaam

    The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

  42. 55:42

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٤٢

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  43. 55:43

    هَـٰذِهِۦجَهَنَّمُٱلَّتِىيُكَذِّبُبِهَاٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ٤٣

    Haazihee jahannamul latee yukazzibu bihal mujrimoon

    This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

  44. 55:44

    يَطُوفُونَبَيْنَهَاوَبَيْنَحَمِيمٍءَانٍۢ٤٤

    Yatoofoona bainahaa wa baina hameemim aan

    They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

  45. 55:45

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٤٥

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  46. 55:46

    وَلِمَنْخَافَمَقَامَرَبِّهِۦجَنَّتَانِ٤٦

    Wa liman khaafa maqaama rabbihee jannataan

    But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

  47. 55:47

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٤٧

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  48. 55:48

    ذَوَاتَآأَفْنَانٍۢ٤٨

    Zawaataaa afnaan

    Having [spreading] branches.

  49. 55:49

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٤٩

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  50. 55:50

    فِيهِمَاعَيْنَانِتَجْرِيَانِ٥٠

    Feehimaa 'aynaani tajriyaan

    In both of them are two springs, flowing.

  51. 55:51

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٥١

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  52. 55:52

    فِيهِمَامِنكُلِّفَـٰكِهَةٍۢزَوْجَانِ٥٢

    Feehimaa min kulli faakihatin zawjaan

    In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

  53. 55:53

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٥٣

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  54. 55:54

    مُتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَىٰفُرُشٍۭبَطَآئِنُهَامِنْإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚوَجَنَىٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِدَانٍۢ٥٤

    Muttaki'eena 'alaa furushim bataaa'inuhaa min istabraq; wajanal jannataini daan

    [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.

  55. 55:55

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٥٥

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  56. 55:56

    فِيهِنَّقَـٰصِرَٰتُٱلطَّرْفِلَمْيَطْمِثْهُنَّإِنسٌۭقَبْلَهُمْوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ٥٦

    Feehinna qaasiratut tarfi lam yatmishunna insun qablahum wa laa jaaann

    In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -

  57. 55:57

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٥٧

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  58. 55:58

    كَأَنَّهُنَّٱلْيَاقُوتُوَٱلْمَرْجَانُ٥٨

    ka annahunnal yaaqootu wal marjaan

    As if they were rubies and coral.

  59. 55:59

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٥٩

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  60. 55:60

    هَلْجَزَآءُٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِإِلَّاٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ٦٠

    Hal jazaaa'ul ihsaani illal ihsaan

    Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

  61. 55:61

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٦١

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  62. 55:62

    وَمِندُونِهِمَاجَنَّتَانِ٦٢

    Wa min doonihimaa jannataan

    And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -

  63. 55:63

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٦٣

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  64. 55:64

    مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ٦٤

    Mudhaaammataan

    Dark green [in color].

  65. 55:65

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٦٥

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  66. 55:66

    فِيهِمَاعَيْنَانِنَضَّاخَتَانِ٦٦

    Feehimaa 'aynaani nad daakhataan

    In both of them are two springs, spouting.

  67. 55:67

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٦٧

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  68. 55:68

    فِيهِمَافَـٰكِهَةٌۭوَنَخْلٌۭوَرُمَّانٌۭ٦٨

    Feehimaa faakihatunw wa nakhlunw wa rummaan

    In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.

  69. 55:69

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٦٩

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  70. 55:70

    فِيهِنَّخَيْرَٰتٌحِسَانٌۭ٧٠

    Feehinna khairaatun hisaan

    In them are good and beautiful women -

  71. 55:71

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٧١

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  72. 55:72

    حُورٌۭمَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭفِىٱلْخِيَامِ٧٢

    Hoorum maqsooraatun fil khiyaam

    Fair ones reserved in pavilions -

  73. 55:73

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٧٣

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  74. 55:74

    لَمْيَطْمِثْهُنَّإِنسٌۭقَبْلَهُمْوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ٧٤

    Lam yatmis hunna insun qablahum wa laa jaaann

    Untouched before them by man or jinni -

  75. 55:75

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٧٥

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

  76. 55:76

    مُتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَىٰرَفْرَفٍخُضْرٍۢوَعَبْقَرِىٍّحِسَانٍۢ٧٦

    Muttaki'eena 'alaa rafratin khudrinw wa 'abqariyyin hisaan

    Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.

  77. 55:77

    فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ٧٧

    Fabi ayyi aalaaa'i Rabbikumaa tukazzibaan.

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  78. 55:78

    تَبَـٰرَكَٱسْمُرَبِّكَذِىٱلْجَلَـٰلِوَٱلْإِكْرَامِ٧٨

    Tabaarakasmu Rabbika Zil-Jalaali wal-Ikraam

    Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
