رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Rabbanā taqabbal minnā innaka antas-Samī'ul-'Alīm.
"Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā 'adhāban-nār.
"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā ba'da idh hadaytanā wa hab lanā mil-ladunka raḥmah, innaka antal-Wahhāb.
"Our Lord, let not our hearts swerve after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata a'yunin waj'alnā lil-muttaqīna imāmā.
"Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbanā afrigh 'alaynā ṣabran wa thabbit aqdāmanā wanṣurnā 'alal-qawmil-kāfirīn.
"Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbanāgh-fir lanā dhunūbanā wa isrāfanā fī amrinā wa thabbit aqdāmanā wanṣurnā 'alal-qawmil-kāfirīn.
"Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā innanā āmannā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa qinā 'adhāban-nār.
"Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Rabbanā āmannā bimā anzalta wattaba'nār-Rasūla faktubnā ma'ash-shāhidīn.
"Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."
رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأَبْرَارِ
Rabbanā innanā sami'nā munādiyay-yunādī lil-īmāni an āminū bi-Rabbikum fa-āmannā, Rabbanā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir 'annā sayyi-ātinā wa tawaffanā ma'al-abrār.
"Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous."
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Rabbanā wa ātinā mā wa'adttanā 'alā rusulika wa lā tukhzinā Yawmal-Qiyāmah, innaka lā tukhliful-mī'ād.
"Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in Your promise."
رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا
Rabbanā akhrijnā min hādhihil-qaryatizh-zhālimi ahluhā waj'al lanā mil-ladunka waliyyaw-waj'al lanā mil-ladunka naṣīrā.
"Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper."
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa il-lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā lanakūnanna minal-khāsirīn.
"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbanā lā taj'alnā ma'al-qawmizh-zhālimīn.
"Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ
Rabbanāftah baynanā wa bayna qawminā bil-ḥaqqi wa anta khayrul-fātiḥīn.
"Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Rabbanā afrigh 'alaynā ṣabran wa tawaffanā muslimīn.
"Our Lord, pour upon us patience and cause us to die as Muslims [in submission to You]."
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbanā lā taj'alnā fitnatal-lil-qawmizh-zhālimīn, wa najjinā bi-raḥmatika minal-qawmil-kāfirīn.
"Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people, and save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Rabbanā innaka ta'lamu mā nukhfī wa mā nu'lin, wa mā yakhfā 'alal-lāhi min shay'in fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samā'.
"Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven."
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbij-'alnī muqīmaṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī, Rabbanā wa taqabbal du'ā'.
"My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbanāgh-fir lī wa li-wālidayya wa lil-mu'minīna Yawma yaqūmul-ḥisāb.
"Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established."
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Rabbanā ātinā mil-ladunka raḥmataw-wa hayyi' lanā min amrinā rashadā.
"Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."
رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Rabbi zidnī 'ilmā.
"My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbanā āmannā faghfir lanā warḥamnā wa anta khayrur-rāḥimīn.
"Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful."
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
Rabbanāṣ-rif 'annā 'adhāba Jahannama inna 'adhābahā kāna gharāmā.
"Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is grueling."
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Rabbanā wasi'ta kulla shay'ir-raḥmataw-wa 'ilman faghfir lilladhīna tābū wattaba'ū sabīlaka wa qihim 'adhābal-jaḥīm.
"Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire."
رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُم وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Rabbanā wa adkhilhum jannāti 'adninil-latī wa'adtthum wa man ṣalaḥa min ābā'ihim wa azwājihim wa dhurriyyātihim, innaka antal-'Azīzul-Ḥakīm.
"Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالإِيمَانِ وَلا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلاًّ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Rabbanāgh-fir lanā wa li-ikhwānināl-ladhīna sabaqūnā bil-īmāni wa lā taj'al fī qulūbinā ghillal-lilladhīna āmanū Rabbanā innaka Ra'ūfur-Raḥīm.
"Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Rabbanā 'alayka tawakkalnā wa ilayka anabnā wa ilaykal-maṣīr.
"Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the final destination."
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Rabbanā lā taj'alnā fitnatal-lilladhīna kafarū wagh-fir lanā Rabbanā innaka antal-'Azīzul-Ḥakīm.
"Our Lord, make us not objects of torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Rabbanāt-mim lanā nūranā wagh-fir lanā innaka 'alā kulli shay'in Qadīr.
"Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan subḥānaka faqinā 'adhāban-nār.
"Our Lord, You did not create all this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Rabbi awzi'nī an ashkura ni'matakal-latī an'amta 'alayya wa 'alā wālidayya wa an a'mala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhu wa adkhilnī bi-raḥmatika fī 'ibādikaṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
"My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants."
رَبَّنَا انصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Rabbanān-ṣurnā 'alal-qawmil-mufsidīn.
"My Lord, support me against the corrupting people."
رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا
Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqiw-wa akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqiw-waj'al lī mil-ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.
"My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority."
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbish-raḥ lī ṣadrī wa yassir lī amrī waḥ-lul 'uqdatam-mil-lisānī yafqahū qawlī.
"My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech."
رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ ۖ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Rabbanā anzil 'alaynā mā'idatam-minas-samā'i takūnu lanā 'īdal-li'awwalinā wa ākhirinā wa āyatam-minka war-zuqnā wa anta khayrur-rāziqīn.
"O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table spread [with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."
رَبَّاهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbi annī massaniyad-ḍurru wa anta arḥamur-rāḥimīn.
"My Lord, indeed adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.
"My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ
Rabbi a'ūdhu bika min hamazātish-shayāṭīn, wa a'ūdhu bika Rabbi ay-yaḥḍurūn.
"My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ
Rabbi anzilnī munzalam-mubārakaw-wa anta khayrul-munzilīn.
"My Lord, cause me to land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us]."
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī faghfir lī.
"My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me."
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minazh-zhālimīn.
"There is no deity except You; exalted are You! Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Allāhumma anta Rabbī lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa anā 'abduka, wa anā 'alā 'ahdika wa wa'dika mas-taṭa'tu, a'ūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣana'tu, abū'u laka bi-ni'matika 'alayya, wa abū'u bi-dhanbī faghfir lī fa-innahū lā yaghfirudh-dhunūba illā ant.
"O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazani, wal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli wal-jubni, wa ḍala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijāl.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and the oppression of men."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ ۖ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ
Allāhumma innī astakhīruka bi-'ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi-qudratika wa as'aluka min faḍlikal-'aẓīm, fa-innaka taqdiru wa lā aqdiru wa ta'lamu wa lā a'lamu wa anta 'Allāmul-ghuyūb.
"O Allah, I seek Your counsel through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. For You are able and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen."
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Yā Muqallibal-qulūbi thabbit qalbī 'alā dīnik.
"O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ
Allāhumma innī as'aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubba may-yuḥibbuka wal-'amalal-ladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak.
"O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deeds that will bring me to Your love."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
Allāhumma innī as'aluka 'ilman nāfi'an, wa rizqan ṭayyiban, wa 'amalam-mutaqabbalā.
"O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, wholesome provision, and accepted deeds."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillāhil-ladhī lā yaḍurru ma'as-mihī shay'un fil-arḍi wa lā fis-samā'i wa Huwas-Samī'ul-'Alīm.
"In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Allāhumma 'āfinī fī badanī, Allāhumma 'āfinī fī sam'ī, Allāhumma 'āfinī fī baṣarī, lā ilāha illā ant.
"O Allah, grant me health in my body; O Allah, grant me health in my hearing; O Allah, grant me health in my sight. There is no deity except You."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُنُونِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الأَسْقَامِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-baraṣi, wal-junūni, wal-judhāmi, wa min sayyi'il-asqām.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from vitiligo, madness, leprosy, and evil diseases."
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Ḥasbunallāhu wa ni'mal-wakīl.
"Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwal-Ḥayyul-Qayyūm, lā ta'khudhuhū sinatuw-wa lā nawm, lahū mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ...
"Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth..."
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ... قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
Qul a'ūdhu bi-Rabbil-falaq... Qul a'ūdhu bi-Rabbin-nās...
"Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak... Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind..."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ
Allāhumma innī 'abduka, wabnu 'abdika, wabnu amatika, nāṣiyatī bi-yadika, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qaḍā'uk...
"O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed, and Your decree over me is just..."
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي
Rabbigh-fir lī, Rabbigh-fir lī.
"Lord forgive me, Lord forgive me."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allāhumma innaka 'Afuwwun tuḥibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'annī.
"O Allah, You are Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me."
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allāhummaf-taḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.
"O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Allāhumma innī as'aluka min faḍlik.
"O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
Bismillāhi, tawakkaltu 'alallāhi, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.
"In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah; there is no power and no strength except through Allah."
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī aḥyānā ba'da mā amātanā wa ilaihin-nushūr.
"All praise is due to Allah Who gave us life after causing us to die, and unto Him is the resurrection."
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismikallāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā.
"In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillāh.
"In the name of Allah."
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ ḥawlim-minnī وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī aṭ'amanī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlim-minnī wa lā quwwah.
"Praise be to Allah Who has fed me this and provided it for me without any power or strength on my part."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khabā'ith.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from male and female evil spirits."
غُفْرَانَكَ
Ghufrānak.
"[I ask for] Your forgiveness."
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Rabbir-ḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.
"My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A'ūdhu bi-kalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.
"I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created."
لاَ بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Lā ba'sa ṭahūrun in shā'allāh.
"No harm, it will be a purification [from sins], if Allah wills."
أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
As'alullāhal-'Aẓīma Rabbal-'Arshil-'Aẓīmi an yashfiyak.
"I ask Allah the Supreme, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ (3x) ... أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ (7x)
Bismillāh (3x), A'ūdhu billāhi wa qudratihī min sharri mā ajidu wa uḥādhir (7x).
"In the name of Allah (3x). I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and fear (7x)."
اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي
Allāhumma kamā ḥassanta khalqī fa-ḥassin khuluqī.
"O Allah, as You have made my physical appearance beautiful, so make my character beautiful."
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ
Allāhumma lakal-ḥamdu anta kasawtanīh, as'aluka min khayrihī wa khayri mā ṣuni'a lah.
"O Allah, unto You belongs all praise, You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good for which it was made."
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
Subḥānal-ladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa mā kunnā lahū muqrinīn, wa innā ilā Rabbinā la-munqalibūn.
"Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could not have otherwise subdued it. And indeed, to our Lord we will return."
أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ تَضِيعُ وَدَائِعُهُ
Astawdi'ukumullāhal-ladhī lā taḍī'u wadā'i'uh.
"I leave you in the care of Allah, Whose trust is never lost."
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
A'ūdhu billāhi minash-shayṭānir-rajīm.
"I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast."
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ
Subḥānal-ladhī yusabbiḥur-ra'du bi-ḥamdihī wal-malā'ikatu min khīfatih.
"Glory be to Him Whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels out of fear of Him."
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allāhumma ṣayyiban nāfi'ā.
"O Allah, make it a beneficial rain."
مُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَتِهِ
Muṭirnā bi-faḍlillāhi wa raḥmatih.
"We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah."
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahabadh-dhama'u wabtallatil-'urūqu wa thabatal-ajru in shā'allāh.
"The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills."
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Allāhumma bārik lahum fīmā razaqtahum, waghfir lahum warḥamhum.
"O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them and have mercy on them."
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, yuḥyī wa yumītu wa Huwa ḥayyul-lā yamūt, bi-yadihil-khayru wa Huwa 'alā kulli shay'in Qadīr.
"There is no deity except Allah alone without partner. To Him belongs kingdom and praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living, never dying. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لاَ أَعْلَمُ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika an ushrika bika wa anā a'lam, wa astaghfiruka limā lā a'lam.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know."
اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلاَمِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
Allāhumma ahillahū 'alaynā bil-amni wal-īmān, was-salāmati wal-Islām, Rabbī wa Rabbukallāh.
"O Allah, bring it over us with security and faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah."
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
Bārakallāhu laka wa bāraka 'alayka wa jama'a baynakumā fī khayr.
"May Allah bless you, shower His blessings upon you, and join you two together in goodness."
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ
U'īdhukumā bi-kalimātillāhit-tāmmati min kulli shayṭāniw-wa hāmmah, wa min kulli 'aynil-lāmmah.
"I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous reptile, and from every evil envious eye."
اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً
Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā ja'altahū sahlā, wa anta taj'alul-ḥazna idhā shi'ta sahlā.
"O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make difficulty, if You wish, easy."
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allāhumma a'innī 'alā dhikrika wa shukrika wa ḥusni 'ibādatik.
"O Allah, help me in remembering You, thanking You, and worshipping You in the best manner."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ، وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika min jahdil-balā'i, wa darakish-shaqā'i, wa sū'il-qaḍā'i, wa shamātatil-a'dā'.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from severe trials, being overtaken by destruction, an evil decree, and the malicious joy of enemies."
إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى وَكُلٌّ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتحتَسِبْ
Inna lillāhi mā akhadha wa lahū mā a'ṭā wa kullun 'indahū bi-ajalim-musammā faltaṣbir wal-taḥtasib.
"Surely to Allah belongs what He took and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has an appointed time. So be patient and seek reward."
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لاَحِقُونَ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ
As-salāmu 'alaykum ahlad-diyāri minal-mu'minīna wal-muslimīn, wa innā in shā'allāhu bikum lāḥiqūn, as'alullāha lanā wa lakumul-'āfiyah.
"Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the abodes of believers and Muslims. Indeed, if Allah wills, we shall join you. I ask Allah for well-being for us and for you."
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullāha wa atūbu ilayh.
"I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him."
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subḥānallāhi wa bi-ḥamdih.
"Glory be to Allah and His is the praise."
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subḥānallāhi wa bi-ḥamdihī, Subḥānallāhil-'Aẓīm.
"Glory be to Allah and His is the praise; Glory be to Allah the Supreme."
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa Huwa 'alā kulli shay'in Qadīr.
"There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs kingdom and praise, and He is over all things competent."
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allāhummak-finī bi-ḥalālika 'an ḥarāmika, wa aghninī bi-faḍlika 'amman siwāk.
"O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provisions against Your unlawful provisions, and enrich me by Your grace above all besides You."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ
Allāhumma innī as'alukal-'afwa wal-'āfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah.
"O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter."
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji'ūn, Allāhumma'-jurnī fī muṣībatī wa akhlif lī khayram-minhā.
"We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better."
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbi najjinī minal-qawmizh-zhālimīn.
"My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people."
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ
Rabbanāgh-fir lanā warḥamnā wa anta khayrul-ghāfirīn.
"Our Lord, forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of forgivers."
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَسَارِي نُورًا
Allāhummaj-'al fī qalbī nūrā, wa fī baṣarī nūrā, wa fī sam'ī nūrā, wa 'an yamīnī nūrā, wa 'an yasārī nūrā...
"O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight, light in my hearing, light on my right, and light on my left..."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُنْكَرَاتِ الأَخْلاَقِ، وَالأَعْمَالِ، وَالأَهْوَاءِ
Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika min munkarātil-akhlāqi, wal-a'māli, wal-ahwā'.
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil character, evil deeds, and evil desires."
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
Ash-hadu allā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan 'abduhū wa Rasūluh. Allāhummaj-'alnī minat-tawwābīna waj-'alnī minal-mutaṭahhirīn.
"I testify that there is no deity except Allah alone without partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me of those who repent and make me of those who purify themselves."
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ
Fa-da'ā Rabbahū annī maghlūbun fan-taṣir.
"So he called upon his Lord: 'Indeed, I am overcome, so help me.'"
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Sneezer: Al-ḥamdu lillāh. Replier: Yarḥamukallāh. Sneezer: Yahdīkumullāhu wa yuṣliḥu bālakum.
"Sneezer: All praise is for Allah. Replier: May Allah have mercy on you. Sneezer: May Allah guide you and set your affairs right."
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allāhumma ṣalli 'alā Muḥammadin wa 'alā āli Muḥammadin kamā ṣallayta 'alā Ibrāhīma wa 'alā āli Ibrāhīma innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd.
"O Allah, send peace upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent peace upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
