بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 26:1

    طسٓمٓ١

    Taa-Seeen-Meeem

    Ta, Seen, Meem.

  2. 26:2

    تِلْكَءَايَـٰتُٱلْكِتَـٰبِٱلْمُبِينِ٢

    Tilka Aayaatul Kitaabil Mubeen

These are the verses of the clear Book.

  3. 26:3

    لَعَلَّكَبَـٰخِعٌۭنَّفْسَكَأَلَّايَكُونُوا۟مُؤْمِنِينَ٣

    La'allaka baakhi'un nafsaka allaa yakoonoo mu'mineen

Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.

  4. 26:4

    إِننَّشَأْنُنَزِّلْعَلَيْهِممِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِءَايَةًۭفَظَلَّتْأَعْنَـٰقُهُمْلَهَاخَـٰضِعِينَ٤

In nashaa nunazzil 'alaihim minas samaaa'i Aayatan fazallat a'naaquhum lahaa khaadi'een

If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled.

  5. 26:5

    وَمَايَأْتِيهِممِّنذِكْرٍۢمِّنَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِمُحْدَثٍإِلَّاكَانُوا۟عَنْهُمُعْرِضِينَ٥

Wa maa yaateehim min zikrim minar Rahmaani muhdasin illaa kaanoo 'anhu mu'rideen

And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it.

  6. 26:6

    فَقَدْكَذَّبُوا۟فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْأَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟مَاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ٦

Faqad kazzaboo fasa yaateehim ambaaa'u maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule.

  7. 26:7

    أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟إِلَىٱلْأَرْضِكَمْأَنۢبَتْنَافِيهَامِنكُلِّزَوْجٍۢكَرِيمٍ٧

Awa lam yaraw ilal ardi kam ambatnaa feehaa min kulli zawjin kareem

Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind?

  8. 26:8

    إِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖوَمَاكَانَأَكْثَرُهُممُّؤْمِنِينَ٨

Inn fee zaalika la Aayah; wa maa kaana aksaruhum mu'mineen

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

  9. 26:9

    وَإِنَّرَبَّكَلَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلرَّحِيمُ٩

Wa inna Rabbaka la Huwal 'Azeezur Raheem

And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

  10. 26:10

    وَإِذْنَادَىٰرَبُّكَمُوسَىٰٓأَنِٱئْتِٱلْقَوْمَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ١٠

Wa iz naadaa Rabbuka Moosaaa ani'-til qawmaz zaalimeen

And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people -

  11. 26:11

    قَوْمَفِرْعَوْنَ ۚأَلَايَتَّقُونَ١١

    Qawma Fir'awn; alaa yattaqoon

The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah?"

  12. 26:12

    قَالَرَبِّإِنِّىٓأَخَافُأَنيُكَذِّبُونِ١٢

Qaala Rabbi inneee akhaafu ai yukazziboon

He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me

  13. 26:13

    وَيَضِيقُصَدْرِىوَلَايَنطَلِقُلِسَانِىفَأَرْسِلْإِلَىٰهَـٰرُونَ١٣

Wa yadeequ sadree wa laa yantaliqu lisaanee fa arsil ilaa Haaroon

And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron.

  14. 26:14

    وَلَهُمْعَلَىَّذَنۢبٌۭفَأَخَافُأَنيَقْتُلُونِ١٤

Wa lahum 'alaiya zambun fa akhaafu ai yaqtuloon

And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me."

  15. 26:15

    قَالَكَلَّا ۖفَٱذْهَبَابِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۖإِنَّامَعَكُممُّسْتَمِعُونَ١٥

Qaala kallaa fazhabaa bi Aayaatinaaa innaa ma'akum mustami'oon

[Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening.

  16. 26:16

    فَأْتِيَافِرْعَوْنَفَقُولَآإِنَّارَسُولُرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ١٦

Faatiyaa Fir'awna faqoolaaa innaa Rasoolu Rabbil 'aalameen

Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds,

  17. 26:17

    أَنْأَرْسِلْمَعَنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ١٧

    An arsil ma'anaa Baneee Israaa'eel

[Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'"

  18. 26:18

    قَالَأَلَمْنُرَبِّكَفِينَاوَلِيدًۭاوَلَبِثْتَفِينَامِنْعُمُرِكَسِنِينَ١٨

Qaala alam nurabbika feenaa waleedanw wa labista feenaa min 'umurika sineen

[Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life?

  19. 26:19

    وَفَعَلْتَفَعْلَتَكَٱلَّتِىفَعَلْتَوَأَنتَمِنَٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ١٩

Wa fa'alta fa'latakal latee fa'alta wa anta minal kaafireen

And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful."

  20. 26:20

    قَالَفَعَلْتُهَآإِذًۭاوَأَنَا۠مِنَٱلضَّآلِّينَ٢٠

Qaala fa'altuhaaa izanw wa ana minad daaaleen

[Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray.

  21. 26:21

    فَفَرَرْتُمِنكُمْلَمَّاخِفْتُكُمْفَوَهَبَلِىرَبِّىحُكْمًۭاوَجَعَلَنِىمِنَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ٢١

Fafarartu minkum lam maa khiftukum fawahaba lee Rabbee hukmanw wa ja'alanee minal mursaleen

So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers.

  22. 26:22

    وَتِلْكَنِعْمَةٌۭتَمُنُّهَاعَلَىَّأَنْعَبَّدتَّبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ٢٢

Wa tilka ni'matun tamun nuhaa 'alaiya an 'abbatta Baneee Israaa'eel

And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?"

Fa alqaa 'asaahu fa izaaa hiya su'baanum mubeen

So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest.

  33. 26:33

    وَنَزَعَيَدَهُۥفَإِذَاهِىَبَيْضَآءُلِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ٣٣

Wa naza'a yadahoo faizaa hiya baidaaa'u linnaa zireen

And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers.

  34. 26:34

    قَالَلِلْمَلَإِحَوْلَهُۥٓإِنَّهَـٰذَالَسَـٰحِرٌعَلِيمٌۭ٣٤

Qaala lilmala-i hawlahooo inna haazaa lasaahirun 'aleem

Fa alqaw hibaalahum wa 'isiyyahum wa qaaloo bi'izzati Fir'awna innaa lanahnul ghaaliboon

    Fa ulqiyas saharatu saajideen

So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah].

    قَالُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّابِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ٤٧

    Qaalooo aamannaa bi Rabbil 'aalameen

    Rabbi Moosaa wa Haaroon

The Lord of Moses and Aaron."

  49. 26:49

[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."

  50. 26:50

    قَالُوا۟لَاضَيْرَ ۖإِنَّآإِلَىٰرَبِّنَامُنقَلِبُونَ٥٠

Qaaloo la daira innaaa ilaa Rabbinaa munqalliboon

Innaa natma'u ai yaghfira lanaa Rabbunna khataa yaanaaa an kunnaaa awwalal mu'mineen

Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers."

  52. 26:52

    ۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰمُوسَىٰٓأَنْأَسْرِبِعِبَادِىٓإِنَّكُممُّتَّبَعُونَ٥٢

Wa awhainaaa ilaa Moosaaa an asri bi'ibaadeee innakum muttaba'oon

And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued."

  53. 26:53

    فَأَرْسَلَفِرْعَوْنُفِىٱلْمَدَآئِنِحَـٰشِرِينَ٥٣

    Fa arsala Fir'awnu filmadaaa'ini haashireen

Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers

  55. 26:55

    وَإِنَّهُمْلَنَالَغَآئِظُونَ٥٥

    Wa innahum lanaa laghaaa'izoon

And indeed, they are enraging us,

  56. 26:56

    وَإِنَّالَجَمِيعٌحَـٰذِرُونَ٥٦

    Wa innaa lajamee'un haaziroon

And indeed, we are a cautious society... "

  57. 26:57

    فَأَخْرَجْنَـٰهُممِّنجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَعُيُونٍۢ٥٧

Fa akhrajnaahum min Jannaatinw wa 'uyoon

So We removed them from gardens and springs

  58. 26:58

    وَكُنُوزٍۢوَمَقَامٍۢكَرِيمٍۢ٥٨

Wa kunoozinw wa ma qaamin kareem

And treasures and honorable station -

  59. 26:59

    كَذَٰلِكَوَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ٥٩

    Kazaalika wa awrasnaahaa Baneee Israaa'eel

Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel.

  60. 26:60

    فَأَتْبَعُوهُممُّشْرِقِينَ٦٠

    Fa atba'oohum mushriqeen

So they pursued them at sunrise.

  61. 26:61

    فَلَمَّاتَرَٰٓءَاٱلْجَمْعَانِقَالَأَصْحَـٰبُمُوسَىٰٓإِنَّالَمُدْرَكُونَ٦١

Falammaa taraaa'al jam'aani qaala as haabu Moosaaa innaa lamudrakoon

And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"

  62. 26:62

    قَالَكَلَّآ ۖإِنَّمَعِىَرَبِّىسَيَهْدِينِ٦٢

Qaala kallaaa inna ma'iya Rabbee sa yahdeen

[Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me."

  63. 26:63

    فَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰمُوسَىٰٓأَنِٱضْرِببِّعَصَاكَٱلْبَحْرَ ۖفَٱنفَلَقَفَكَانَكُلُّفِرْقٍۢكَٱلطَّوْدِٱلْعَظِيمِ٦٣

Fa awhainaaa ilaa Moosaaa anidrib bi'asaakal bahra fanfalaqa fakaana kullu firqin kattawdil 'azeem

Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain.

  64. 26:64

    وَأَزْلَفْنَاثَمَّٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ٦٤

    Wa azlafnaa sammal aakhareen

And We advanced thereto the pursuers.

  65. 26:65

    وَأَنجَيْنَامُوسَىٰوَمَنمَّعَهُۥٓأَجْمَعِينَ٦٥

Wa anjainaa Moosaa wa mam ma'ahooo ajma'een

And We saved Moses and those with him, all together.

  66. 26:66

    ثُمَّأَغْرَقْنَاٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ٦٦

    Summa aghraqnal aakhareen

    Then We drowned the others.

  67. 26:67

    إِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖوَمَاكَانَأَكْثَرُهُممُّؤْمِنِينَ٦٧

Inna fee zaalika la Aayaah; wa maa kaana aksaru hu mu'mineen

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

  68. 26:68

    وَإِنَّرَبَّكَلَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلرَّحِيمُ٦٨

Wa inna Rabbaka la Huwal 'Azeezur Raheem

And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

  69. 26:69

    وَٱتْلُعَلَيْهِمْنَبَأَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ٦٩

    Watlu 'alaihim naba-a Ibraaheem

And recite to them the news of Abraham,

  70. 26:70

    إِذْقَالَلِأَبِيهِوَقَوْمِهِۦمَاتَعْبُدُونَ٧٠

Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maa ta'budoon
